The Reynolds 953 ultra-strong tubing featured on RECORD LT blades maintains bend for longer, and combines with the PM-grade bimetal runner to create a blade up to 3x stronger than Viking or Maple, with the same flex range.

The concept, invented by Kees Douma, has been developed into the RECORD LT blade as part of the Marchese Racing project - with research & development undertaken by Douma, CadoMotus Skating, and Paul Marchese.

While the Marchese Zero blades are designed specifically for elite shorttrackers, CadoMotus_ST blades are a mid-level blade with a standard tube dimension and stiffness in the same range as Maple blades. The CadoMotus ST features industry standard cups and mounting, and a full high speed steel runner. The CadoMotus ST blades are a superb alternative for the best Maple blades, and offer comparable performance.

The CadoMotus ST is M2 high speed steel (63/64HRC), not bimetal. This means the blade is under less tension than a bimetal blade, and is super straight - straighter out-of-the-box than a Maple and without the fragility of PM steel offered by other brands.

Just 1.1mm thick and rockered at 12 meters, the CadoMotus ST is available in 15 / 15.5 / 16 / 16.5 / 17 / 17.5 / 18 inch.
